If you're old enough, you might remember when CDs first appeared in music stores. Different companies took different approaches to assembling the tunes for the shiny discs. For a little while, one of those approaches was to reach into the company catalog and reissue several popular songs, regardless of genre, onto one CD. Arista Records tried this with its Perfect 10 series; each CD had 10 tracks including a little bit of everything.
I prefer the first two Perfect 10s, but just try to find an eclectic mix like this today:

I'm On Your Side - Angela Bofill (5:05)
Deja Vu - Dionne Warwick (5:09)
Caribbean Queen - Billy Ocean (7:57)

You Give Good Love - Whitney Houston (4:36)
Step By Step - Jeff Lorber (4:04)
Japan - Kenny G (5:04)
Who's Zoomin' Who - Aretha Franklin (4:44)
Note those times in parentheses - there are some long versions on that CD. For that and for sheer 80s nostalgia, I give it four stars.
