This was not an informative book at all. I recently adopted a pet pig and wanted more detailed information for things like communication, care, and training techniques. The description says it covers a lot of subjects, but none are covered in any detail. I didn't learn anything new from this book and already knew everything in here just from my own research and from the info provided by our pig's breeder. The only good thing I can say is the book was very easy to read, I read the whole thing in about a half hour. You can find the same info, and more, using Google so don't waste your money on this book.

After seeing a few people who had pet pigs, I started becoming more intrigued by the idea. I really knew nothing about keeping a pig as a pet, and I suppose there's info here and there on it, but this easy-to-read has it all in one place. Perfect for someone like me who is new to this and is looking for some good, solid information on it. This book is great! It tells you the history of pigs as pets (they're really quite intelligent and make great pets), where and how to buy a micro pig (I didn't even know there were "micro" pigs!), house training, how and what to feed a pet pig and even tricks and training (not just for dogs anymore)! This book also covers some of the more serious aspects, like domesticating your pet pig, house rules, rides and vacations, common pitfalls, medical requirements, and in some cases, legal requirements. Those tea cup pigs are just sooo cute! How could anyone not like them? So, before you get a pet pig, or even if you already have one, this book covers a ton of questions the new pet owner may have, or will probably have at some point. For the ridiculously low price, it's well worth having on hand for quick and easy reference. All the info in one place.
