I am from Greater Vision's home church where Perfect Candidate was premiered, and the audience was overwhelmed. There are at least four songs on this albumn that I think could be "song of the year" in Southern Gospel Music. From the call to worship "Do Something Special" to the hautingly beautiful " Merciful To Me " I think this album is the hottest thing out there in Southern Gospel Music. "Waiting At he Well " could be the favorite cut. Technically the arrangements and orchestration are near perfect,however, the "Feeling" of the message comes thru in good order.This albumn showcases G.V's vocal abilities as well as Rodney's song writing skills.Sitting quietly and listening to this album is like visiting a sacred place.I think this is Greater Vision's best work to date.Anyone who likes Southern Gospel Music will love Perfect Cadidate!

"Perfect Candidate" is the perfect follow up to Greater Vision's incredible hit "Far Beyond This Place". How do they do it? "Use Us Jesus" and "No One" are challenging songs that make the listener think about the depth of the commitment to the Lord. "Their Is", "You Gotta Know", "Merciful to Me", "He's Still Waiting by the Well" and "So Much God" each give a strong, clear gospel message. And for those who are discourged just let the Lord minister to you with the songs "A Perfect Candidate", "You'll Carry Me Through" and "God Wants to Hear You Sing". If they keep making albums like this Greater Vision will be a major force for years to come.

*So Much God- Jesus was a man when he cried at Lazarus' death, but when He raised him from the dead, that's when the God part took over!

I love this CD and I hope everyone will take some time to hear it!

wonderful songs and inspirational. Brings one into worship which is what I desire most. Lyrics for songs give one to thinking.

This is one of the greatest CD's that Greater Vision ever released. It's SUPER!

This may well be--top to bottom-- this best Southern Gospel album I have heard! The powerful writing, the superior production and the orchestral arrangements/performance make this a "must have" for the Southern gosple fan! There is also a discernable "realness" to the voices of the Trio! As a veteran singer of this genre, not since The Cathedrals were in their prime have I heard better spirit-filled music!
