THE GOOD:
Really inexpensive unit, and I like that I use my iron to seal it, (you can vary the sealing time to make sure it is sealed correctly). It's an exceptionally good concept, but needs tweaking to make it a true replacement for commercial pods.

THE BAD:
I have the exact same coffee brewer shown in the photo of this product, so I assumed these pods would fit perfectly. They don't. The pods that are produced with this system are deeper than what the machine allows, and the pods have straight sides verses the sloping sides of the pod holder that comes with the machine. You have to futz with the pods quite a bit to get it to fit in. Also tried in a Senseo machine with the same result.

The shipping time is long. I received an email stating that it was shipped on January 6th, yet didn't receive it until January 24th. I can only assume that it didn't actually ship on the 6th, as 18 days ship time within the US is pretty outrageous. I had that problem with another private seller on Amazon, so it seems that Amazon just sends out an email saying it has shipped when it hasn't.

THE BOTTOM LINE:
The strength of the coffee, and the output is not the same. Even using a large amount of coffee, it comes out much weaker. I can deal with this and you should be aware so you can adjust the grind of your coffee.

Without a lot of other options, this is a usable product, but would be much better if the sizing of the pod maker was adjusted to more accurately reflect the machines that the pods are supposed to fit into.

I am so glad I purchased this! It works perfectly - FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS: rough side UP, iron on hottest setting, NO water in iron - voila! Perfect pods! Takes maybe 30 seconds to make each pod, in 10 minutes I'm stocked for the week. I've been using these with the Hamilton Beach Personal Cup One Cup Pod Brewer for about a month with zero issues.

This thing works great. I bought it to use with the Hamilton Beach Personal Cup Stay or Go. With this product I can make a strong cup of coffee with one pod where it would have taken two Senso Pods. And for half the cost. My only wish would be that the filters were a little larger. Sometimes I don't center them exactly right.

I got this for my brand new Hamilton Beach Pod Coffee Maker and it is an excellent product. In fact, I have ordered the coffee maker and the pod maker and filters for my mother after using them for less than a week.
With a minimum of setting things up I can make one pod a minute so making a week worth of coffee pods takes minimal time. Put them in a zip bag and into the refrigerator and my coffee needs are met.
I used to throw away about half of a pot of coffee most of the time when I made coffee. No more.
Don't be afraid. Go for it!

Recently bought this product to make pods for my new Keurig but was not expecting much. This product really works and is as easy as 1-2-3!!!! All you need is your ground coffee and an iron. I used my iron on the hottest setting with no water and it sealed up in seconds. Used the pods in conjunction with the perfect pod holster and have a great cup of coffee at a quarter of the cost of a K-cup.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these easy to make coffee pods. They are super fast and they work perfectly in my Hamilton Beach Single to go coffee maker. It has been difficult to find 'make'at home' coffee pods. I will be ordering many more refills!

I think this product is a very good way to go green and save alot of trash in the landfill.
This product is very easy to use and with the help of your own iron it is actualy fun to get your coffee ready.
Being able to use your own favorite blend and still be able to use a wonderful new coffee maker is great.
I would even buy this as a gift for a wedding if I knew that the person was getting a Sensao machine as a gift.

I am glad I found this pod maker and filters. I had purchased the EcoPad set and they fit in my Hamilton Beach brewer, but they don't work too well in it, since they allow too much water to get by and you end up with a weak cup of coffee. The EcoPads will probably work in the actual Senseo just fine. This Perfect Coffee Pod Maker makes the pods which are just like the store pods, and you can use any kind of fine ground coffee you want. You can just sit at the kitchen table and very easily make your week's worth of pods in a short time. I stuff mine full since I like my coffee a bit stronger. As long as you don't pile in too much, they will seal okay. And one pod of mine makes a decent 12 ounce cup of coffee. A lot more reasonable than the store ones, and you can make any flavor you want. And they include a paper with a website where you can order more filters for it. Thanks!

Does just what is says it will do...make the perfect coffee pod! Very easy to use. Glad that i bought it.

This works like a charm. I have made and used lots of pods with my favorites and I could fill the pods pretty full before sealing them easily and quickly. Makfill them myself. es for a more satisfying and robust flavor when I can fill them myself. I already ordered the refill papers from the same company.
