Bill Laws (www.billlaws.com) is the Hereford, England-based author of books on subjects as diverse as Irish country style, artists in their gardens, the history of the home and the kitchen garden. He's currently busking with his saxophone, researching a social history of street musicians.

Comprehensive look,
This review is from: The Perfect Country Cottage (Hardcover)
This book offered a historical view of cottages across several countries explaining why they were built the way they were. He then writes about the classic entrance to the cottage home. Following that he discusses the interior broken down by areas of the house. He covers furniture, paint, kithchens, bathrooms and bedrooms. He finishes the book with a discription of the cottage garden and conservatories. The pictures are great. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
