A Coach Worth Listening To,
This review is from: Perfect Credit: 7 Steps to a Great Credit Rating (Paperback)
I love The Money Coach - a wealth of knowledge! Finally, someone who speaks an easy-to-understand finance language. She makes it extremely do-able for anyone to spend wisely, manage money well, raise their credit score and reap the benefits later ... This book is extremely useful for anyone, no matter their money situation. I thought my credit was good (and it is), but now I see the value of striving for perfect credit. Highly recommended!

I had not read anything by this author before. I was pleasantly surprised at her astounding knowledge of all things financial and her laser focus on her subject. She stays on message. She actually does tell you, first, exactly what all the credit scores mean and how they came about. She also tells you about our recent financial history and what it means to the reader. You get a real inside look at the credit and banking system.
Next, she guides you through the maze of how you can easily destroy your credit or make it far better until it's perfect. Much of what she says is fresh and new. For example, I had no idea Avis (and perhaps others?) do a hard pull on your credit when you use a debit card! She favors using a credit monitoring service. Most financial writers --- at least those I've read --- do not. She backs up her opinion with valid reasons as well. I don't particularly agree with her on this either. For one thing, the FICO seen by the creditor and that seen by the consumer "may" not be the same. Of course, there may be valid reasons for "some" people to use such a service. This is an excellent book. If you care about your credit, you are well advised to get a copy and read every word. Highly recommended. -- Susanna K. Hutcheson

Lynnette interviewed me years ago. Since then, I have gotten rid of $40,000 in debt. I ordered these books to gain some more knowledge. I hope I am as successful in improving my credit with her tips.
