Baker, the album is filled with the type of candid and razor-sharp lyrics that have made Schneider a firm favorite in critics' circles and a must-see performer by legions of music fans. Perfect Day is the follow-up to his hit album Lovely Creatures (2009).

This album is exactly what Bob says he wanted it to be - a light, fun set of songs good for hanging out and enjoying the day. The opening song, Let the Light In is beautiful, an instant classic, and stacks up well with anything else he's done. I also took an early liking to Honeypot, Everything You Love, and Penelope Cruz. At first listen I didn't get completely into some of the other songs, but after a few spins I'm really enjoying the whole thing.
If you have Bob's other albums, this one is generally lighter than any of his previous work that I've heard. There are no real rockers, not a lot of edgy stuff. It's another step beyond Lovely Creatures in what seems to be a recent move toward more of a pop sound. These are not normally positive traits in my book, but I still like Perfect Day. Bob's genius knows no bounds, as he continually proves. As far as comparing this with his other albums my favorites remain I'm Good Now, Lovely Creatures, and Lonelyland. If you haven't heard of Bob before, check those out and see him live if you get the chance. The guy has a ton of charisma, a twisted funny mind, and a ton of talent.

Came in on time from the shipper, and like all of Bob's albums... it was great. His sound is changing a little, but its still Bob. My favorites would still have to be 'I'm Good Now' and ' Lonelyland'.

I've been following Bob Schneider since my high school days, when he was frontman for The Scabs. This album, like everything else from him, doesn't disappoint! "Peaches" is my favorite song on this album. It's catchy and light-hearted. Great job!

Great New Artist!

Awesomeness!!!
Love this artist! Bob is a popular Austin artist and rightfully has a huge following. His music is different than other music which makes it all the more enjoyable!
