More About the Author

Heather Tullis has always loved romance, and read voraciously as a young teen (and even before). Writing it down eventually was inevitable. The DiCarlo Brides series is the first she's published under this name, though she's published eight other romances under another name. She loves gurgling brooks, chocolate pinwheel cakes and twinkle lights. All six of the DiCarlo Brides books are slated for release by the end of 2013.

A Perfect Fit by Heather Tullis is captivating. I started reading and couldn't stop. Cami discovers she has four sisters she'd never known. Now she has to deal with her fathers betrayal and is forced into close proximity with her newfound siblings. Throw a sexy landscaper into the mix and you have a summer of surprises, betrayals, and revelations.

What i really liked was that it was a clean romance but still had all the sensuality and sparks needed to fall in love with Vince and Cami. I highly recommend this book and can't wait to read the next book in the DiCarlo Brides series.

The story itself was good, but I just couldn't ignore all of the typos. I found myself thinking about the typos more than the story and/or characters. I think if the author had an editor (or almost anyone, really) go through and clean it up a bit, it would be a much better book.

Good things about the book...no filthy language or explicit sex scenes. Not so great things about the book... The h, Cami, wasn't likable. The H, Vince was interesting but it was impossible to tell what attracted him to her. The premise of 4 illegitimate sisters from Mr Great Dad- not even believable.

First time reading this author, I was a little surprised to see the word "ass" used, and the sex outside of marriage based on it being categorized as a "inspirational" romance. However other than that I would say it was "clean" as other reviewers described. I must admit I got a little tired of Vince being called "hot" a bazillion times...kind of felt like either a teen was writing the book, or I needed to be a very immature adult to enjoy it. I am interested in reading the stories of the other sisters because I enjoyed the basis of the story; however, I do not think the quality of writing or character development is very impressive and I probably will not purchase them. If they are ever free, I might read them, otherwise I will stick to other authors who keep my attention better.

Good lord, this book was tedious. The heroine was so unlikeable, I just didn't see any redeeming qualities in her. I get she had just been delivered a shock but so did everyone else. She was just unpleasant and angry with pretty much everyone. Her reasoning for dating then not dating the hero (who's nice but a bit bland) didn't make sense and was pretty immature.
In terms of writing, I've definitely read worse so I guess the novel has that going for it.....

Heather is an amazing writer and I love the idea of this series. I look forward to hearing all the stories behind each of the sisters. This book was a great start. I love the clean romance, snappy dialogue, and interesting characters. Looking forward to more from this author.

Cami DiCarlo is the daughter of a hotel magnate. After his passing she is shocked to learn that he fathered four other daughters in addition to herself and her younger sister. In his will he mandates that the six sisters must now work together in the opening of his newest hotel before they can inherit.

I enjoyed this story. It was fast-paced and there was a slight mystery running through it as well as the touted romance. The romance was clean - as the author wrote on her blog, the bedroom door stayed closed.

I did have to suspend my disbelief regarding a few things. In particular, the father manipulated things so that he basically hand-picked husbands for his daughters. While in this book only Cami's romance is developed it is hard to believe that men would really fall into line so easily when they were told that they should specifically date someone.

The mystery could have been slightly better developed. In my mind it seemed to be secondary to the plot but then it played a primary role in the climax.

All in all, however, I enjoyed to book. I look forward to reading more books by this author in the future.
