The Perfect Fit was a blessing in my life. I found it by "coincidence" (most likely God ordained) on the internet and after reading the review I decided to buy it. As a divorced woman at the time my hopes to be married again were gone. Failure hindered me to feel like I was deserving of a godly relationship. God used Julie to a journey to explore the possibilities, keep the faith and pray for what I needed more than what I wanted. Then months later, after God preparing my heart I met an amazing man which I married on March 20, 2010. I truly believe that this book should be read by those who feel like there is no hope for them or waiting seems to be unbearable. Besides to be an amazing and encouraging story it makes you ask yourself many questions and deal with unseen relational issues that we are carrying around. It inspire you to be a team with the Spirit to deal with those issues too. This is a must have in your library!

My life changed after reading The Perfect Fit. A Perfect Fit is a book that encouraged me beyond any expectations, I cried and laughed and didn't realize that my life was heading in a new direction. A direction of restoration, healing and deliverance. I had been praying for courage and basically a miracle to happen in my life. I didn't know the way out of certain destructive patterns and I thought I was the only Christian woman going through this. God placed The Perfect Fit in my hands, after reading it in three days, I knew what I had to do. Through Julie's candid account of her own similar journey and how God gave her a second chance for His best, I found hope. I was determined to allow God to heal me and to believe that, if Julie could trust God with her future, I was going to do it too! I broke off the abusive relationship and began my journey of waiting on God for my perfect fit, and He blessed me beyond all I could ask or imagine with a wonderful godly husband.

I could NOT put this book down. It was a fantastic read and it hit me hardcore. This book is a MUST read for every teen in a youth group and every young adult in a singles ministry and every middle aged person thinking they have failed in love. God KNEW I would need this book and He gave me this present from Julie at the perfect time!!

Ha! I have tears in my eyes just thinking about reviewing this book! I cant say enough about it, it has so changed my life the 1st time I read it and continues to do so each time thereafter. The author has such a way with putting God, dating and life all in one basket, I would suggest this book if your single, dating or even married,this is a must read!

This is the first review of a book that I have ever written so that tells you just how much I love this book. This book is a page turner from start to finish. The writers' style is so open, and honest and you can feel the vulnerability in this book. This book is a journey of God's awesome love for us.

My daughter read this book in her early teen years and it made a huge impact on her decision to remain pure until marriage. I recommend this book for teens and for those who have never been married, but it is a must read if you have been divorced and are lost and looking for love again. There is hope for all of us who didn't wait for God's best for us the first time around and now are suffering in pain and loss. There is hope because of God's unfailing love for us. I am so grateful for Julie and Steve's testimony and I am sure you will be as touched by this book as I have been.

Thank you, Julie, for your honest and straightforward writing style. Your trials and subsequent victory have encouraged me in my own struggles and have been a help to me in overcoming the guilt of my own past failures. Failure is essential part of our journey in order for us to reach a place of peace and joy -- and your book is helping me press on in Christ. I highly recommend this book for anyone struggling with a failed relationship!

The Perfect Fit was an answer to a prayer and exactly when I needed it. I had been struggling with a fear of being alone the rest of my life and had joined a Christian dating site to try to find that perfect mate...that person to fulfill me. That is when God put Cam Miller (See his review above) in my path and he told me that I just HAD to read Julie's book. I now know that God is all I need. He fulfills me. He knows the desires of my heart and has a plan just for me. I must be patient and wait upon the Lord. He will provide what I need. Thank you and God bless you Cam for bringing this book to me and you Julie and Steve for being so honest and for sharing your life with me so that Christ is again the center of mine. I am buying a copy for our marriage and family pastor at church and going down to the local Christian and secular bookstores to tell them what they are missing by not carrying your book.

This is such a great read! Julie really shows us that no one is perfect and she helps to confess things so that we can relate. It was a great book and I really recommend it for those who are in the waiting period:)

A Stellar read! Not bored for one second and you will hope again at the end of this book! I laughed, cried and went through so many emotions...even weeks after reading it I am still going through emotions and digesting it all. God stirred something in me with your book to believe again. I had really gotten in a rut in this area of my life and just kind of chalked it up to the "whatever happens" factor. Whatever happens, happens, right? But the white rose made me think again. Julie's exciting experience through states, on planes and all the other adventures that happened to her made me want a "love adventure" of my own. I am able to believe now for that area of my life. My expectations are super high but God is able to take that lost hope and renew it again! Get your hands on it today and then share it!

First let me begin by telling you that two days before I even picked up the book, I had been praying about trusting God to handle all of the pieces of my life and put them back together the way he felt that they would fit best. When I opened that book.....WOW! Talk about a life changing moment.
First of all, Julie's life seemed to mirror mine. I have been a hairstylist for years, single mom w/ daughters, & had been seemingly grabbing any Mr. Wrong (for company of course) as I rolled down the same old familiar hill of disappointment.
I actually took a huge step last year & began college to become an RN, so I had to wait for a break to read anything other than a textbook. Thankfully, I have still have a little more time until next semester, which I will spend re-reading the book!
Julie, your testimony has fanned the fire for me as a single woman in the Lord. I feel stronger and more independent than I ever have. My expectations are set on what God had planned for me....not ME. You showed me that even during all the moments I have had & will have during my single time, it's not to be dreaded, but rather embraced. I don't have to continue playing with all the puzzle pieces, frantically moving them this way & that way, searching for the right picture. No...not anymore. These are the times when I can watch Him put it all together.
