Awesome!,
This review is from: My Perfect Guy (Sweet Valley Jr. High No. 14) (Paperback)
This was a great book! Damon asks Jessica to be his girlfriend. She excepts, of course, but she finds that maybe Damon isn't soo perfect for her. I still think they make a cute couple, but they had a lot of complications! Also, Anna joins the drama club and is a natural at it! She meets a cool guy named Toby. Brian is beginning to think that he isn't such a good boyfriend, what with all of Damon and Jessica's problems, so he tries to be ultra romantic to Kristin-only she likes Brian just the way that he is. Anyway, it's very funny but also sort of sad at the same time. I really hope you read this book, because I know you'll enjoy it.

My PERFECT Guy?,

Jessica and Damon are finally going out but there's a total issue of miscommunication here! Neither is sure what the other one wants and they end up making each other and themselves unhappy by not talking at all! If only they had acted like they were actually friends...I've been in a situation like this before and I just have one thing to say...make sure you TALK! Why else have a boyfriend? But anyway this book can tell you just WHY you need to talk. I rated it 4 stars because I liked it and it seemed kind of like something was missing, however. A must-read!

This review is from: My Perfect Guy (Sweet Valley Jr. High No. 14) (Paperback)
This book is a terrific book. All of the charactors have some kind of problem. I would say this book is sort of realistic and you could relate to it. I like it how Anna expresses herself. I also enjoy reading the parts with Jessica and Damon. It's a great book. I would recomend this book to the world.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: My Perfect Guy (Sweet Valley Jr. High No. 14) (Paperback)
I think this was such a funny and romantic book. There's a hint of sadness in it though. What made it so funny was about Brian doing all these things like bringing compliments, chocolate candy etc... It all has to do with Jess and Damon. Read it! You'll like it!

Jessic and Damon are at Vito's after school, one day.Damon asks her to be his girlfriend. She says, yes. They share a soda/pop at Cue Cafe , Brian and Kristen are wondering if their relationship might me in trouble. Damon or Jessica always has to babysit for Damon's little sisters,Kita[sp] and Sally, because Mrs.Ross works in a diner and can't afford to hire a sitter. She is also going out with a waitress's brother. A new girl comes to Sweet Valley Junior High,Larissa.Damon and Jessica break up before the dance.

Jessica + Damon = Trouble?,
By
This review is from: My Perfect Guy (Sweet Valley Junior High) (School & Library Binding)
Just when Jessica and Damon finally begin to refer to themselves as a "couple", everything falls apart. Damon is feeling insecure at home now that his mom has started dating again, and has found Ben. Ben is kind and thoughtful, and always offering to do things for the family. That's why Damon can't stand him. He can't help feeling...replaced. But he feels guilty for acting so distracted and insecure around Jessica, and tries to be a better boyfriend by being "quiet and aloof" as Brian put it. But when he just comes off as strange to Jessica, she feels like something is missing between them, and tries to be a better girlfriend by being romantic...too romantic for Damon's liking. At the same time, Brian is second guessing how good of a boyfriend HE is to Kristin, and tries to make her feel more special, even though he's just embarassing himself.
Overall, this book was interesting, romantic, and entertaining. I think Damon and Jessica always have a problem in their relationship, which can be sort of annoying sometimes, but still fun to read about. I recommend this book to SVJH readers, and the SVJH series to those who enjoy teen dramas.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: My Perfect Guy (Sweet Valley Jr. High No. 14) (Paperback)
I love sweet valley and read all of they're books, and enjoy all of them. Like you can read them more than once! But this book was kinda boring. I think if it were more reqlistic it would have been better. This wouldn't have happened in real life. SO if you cant pick between this book and another, pick the other cause this was a flunk.
