Perfect Pod Holster for Keurig Coffee Makers

My first couple of trys I did not like the HOLSTER but I learned how to use it.

The directions are good that come with the HOLSTER but there are 2 ways to use it. The second is not something they tell you about.

1. With the coffee or tea pods. Make sure the pod is in tight and where the needle can penetrate the top.
(This is where most people fail and it will not work well unless the needle can penetrate into the pod).

2. Get the HOLSTER and a product sold by AMAZON called the T-SAC(100ct per box size #2)
a. Fill the T-SAC with 1 1/2 to 2 Tablespoons of regular to fine ground coffee of you liking(DON'T USE EXTRA FINE GRIND!).
b. Fold/roll the top over to seal the T-SAC till coffee is in tight.
c. Squeeze the self-made pod with rolled end to the side of the HOLSTER as the instructions say.
d. Put/Force the pod into the HOLSTER and put the cap on (if you have too much coffee it will not fit-take out some if needed).
e. Make sure there is only a SINGLE SHEET of the filter at the top hole of the HOLSTER and at the bottom.
f. Put the HOLSTER in and brew
(NOTE: I like 16oz-20 oz so I will actually use the same pod twice with no real taste lost).
g. After using pop the top and throw away or compost it.

At 1/2 the cost of a K-Cup and being able to use the flavored coffee I like makes it worth it.

I have been using the Pod Holster in my Keurig B60 for over 2 years, and it does work as advertised. I think that the problem the other reviewers had is that they did not use decent pods. Senseo pods are too small and contain too little coffee.

If you want good pods they need to be purchased on line. I suggest a brand called Fratello, but there are other excellent brands. Just don't use pods designed for the Senseo.

I watched several online video demos of this product and was intrigued. I followed instructions and tried 2 types of Senseo pods. After blowing through half a box of pods I gave up in disgust! The coffee was extremely weak. The holster did not fit snugly in the Keurig, and I made SURE the cover of the holster was snapped on tight. Not only that, but the holster is already dinged around the cover hole from the Keurig mechanism. A WASTE of money for me!!!!

I purchased a Keurig B70 at christmas time but did not care for the K-Cup coffees and using the supplied filter system was a pain so I purchased the Perfect Pod Podmaker and Pod Holster. I can make up pods using my own coffee at the strength I want with this terrific little product. Because I was careless I lost the seal in the lid of the pod holster but a contact with the customer service at ARM got me a replacement even though I was at fault for losing it. They have a super customer service for a terrific product. I love my pod maker and pod holster and can not believe the superb customer service of ARM.

I, like so many others, have a Keurig Coffee Machine and love its ease of use. The K-cups are excellent and I have found several flavors that I enjoy. However my husband is a Folgers fan so I have used the the Keurig single serve holder that came with the machine. Not hard to fill but am used to the ease of the k-cups to just toss out after use. I was so thrilled to find the Folgers PODS here at Amazon. I purchased this pod holder and find it works great!! I have never had the problem other reviewers have talked about. Now I am going to get a few more of these to have them loaded at all times for him with his perfect cup of Folgers Coffee. As one reviewer stated, problems may arise from the brand of coffee pods you are using but the Folgers pods fit and work great. I have not tried any others so this is a subjective opinion.

This works very well. It allows you to buy the less expensive pods in lieu of the K cup and still get a great cup of coffee.

I bought this with high hopes of being able to use a variety of pods with my keurig. However, the coffee is so weak, it's not worth the money. This was a waste of thirteen dollars!

The idea is good. Tea bags work great with this product but it is just as easy to put the tea bag in the cup. The filters kept busting open when I made coffee and then I had a cup full of grinds and a big mess. Not my favourite thing!
