5.0 out of 5 stars Cure Comeback!
I wasn't sure if Lol Tolhurst could pull off a successful record. After all, it's been a long time since he was in The Cure and his last solo record (as Presence) was 10 years ago. But I have to say I'm mightily impressed with Levinhurst. It's got wonderful electronic sounds that seem to fit in with the stuff he played while in The Cure while still sounding modern...

1.0 out of 5 stars Garbage
All the song follow the same idiotic pattern. I've heard elevator
music that had more originality.

But I have to say I'm mightily impressed with Levinhurst. It's got wonderful electronic sounds that seem to fit in with the stuff he played while in The Cure while still sounding modern. The vocals by Cindy Levinson are just absolutely spiritual and lovely. They don't come out as being words (as many songs have few lyrics) but sound more like an added instrument textured onto the song. "Sadman" is certainly my favorite tune with wonderful middle eastern stylings amidst the Electronica. I think Cure fans would not be displeased with this record and electronic music buffs would certainly be happy as well.

Hello. Having a former member of the Cure in the band, I expected a certain something. However I didn't find what I expected, it was better. And I'm very impressed!!! If you like emotions and indipendant rock, with a killer beat, vocals, something you can dance to, jam to, rave to, or other things :). Man it's good!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Debut, May 30, 2009

This album is a must-have for any Cure fan wondering what Lol Tolhurst is up to these days. Although his last few years with that band before he was sacked as well as the first few afterward were rather ignominius, he has since reemerged with his current project bearing the names of him and his wife Cindy Levinson, whose material in some ways surpass the latest material put out by The Cure. Cindy is a very talented singer blessed with an ethereal voice that soothes the soul and Lol has proven himself to be a very talented musician indeed by creating all sorts of smooth electronic riffs that only the rest of us could dream of. All in all this album is a perfect debut from a man whose persistence should be an inspiration to us all.
