Wonderful, wonderful selection of songs! Saw Peter at Xmas concert in San Diego where he played the song "San Diego" and simply floored the crowd. What a terrific guitarist! Every, single song is delectable. The perfect gift for anytime, especially for loved ones to take a break, relax, and enjoy some "perfect moment's together.

I bought this CD in a music store in Hawaii, put it on, looked out the window at the sea and the sunset, and fell in love with Peter White. He is an incredible guitarist with just the right touch. If you find his music too "light", I urge you to see him in concert. He is a magical player, and his live performance is charged with energy. When I want to go back to Hawaii, I just put on this CD, and there I am!

This 1998 outing from Peter White is just a moving work of art and stands out among the smooth jazz genre. I've enjoyed smooth jazz my whole life adn while it has become increasingly predictable, it is one of the few genres to maintain it's integrity while mainstream rock, rap, and R&B have turned into street kill of garbage.

My favorite songs on here are "San Diego", "Don't Want To Be A Fool" and "My Prayer". The cover version of Luther Vandross' classic "Don't Want To Be A Fool" is one of my favorite smooth jazz covers of all time and this version does the original justice.

If you like Peter White, then you must buy this album. If you like smooth jazz in general, you will be very proud of owning this gem.

BTW, I was lucky to be able to get my hands on a limited edition that came with a bonus CD contain three tracks.

The first track is a stripped down version of his early jazz classic "Moonlight Montreal" and has a very acoustic sound to it. "Danny Bianco" is a really marvelous jazz classic with excellent guitar playing. The last track "End of The Day" is a nice acoustic closer.

These three tracks aren't necessarily to write home about but at least they showcase a more obscure side of Peter White's music.

This album is a must-have.

Peter White never dissapoints me. In this CD, we have another beautiful and soothing music. This CD will make you happy and smiling. My favorite tracks are:

1. San Diego: makes me wanna go there someday! Such a beautiful track!
2. Perfect Moment: there's an interesting story behind this song.. buy now to find out!
3. Don't Want to Be a Fool: it's a remake, but it's new and fresh.
4. The View from Your Window: OK, no song has ever moved me so much like this particular song. It's so beautiful and haunting.

So, what are you waiting for? Just buy it! Mr.White, thank you for making such an outstanding CD!

This cd is the cure for road rage. Of course, I just love Peter White's music. This cd is the only music I listen to as I drive around the city (San Antonio, TX). It moves but is smooth. It grooves and is cool. Anyway, if you've ever visited this beautiful city, you know that driving is hazardous to your well-being! Peter's cd helps me remain calm as drivers run the red lights, ignore the stop signs, and threaten to shoot you. I'M SERIOUS! Try it! This is, by far, my FAVORITE Peter White cd and I have almost all of his cd's.

This quite frankly is my most favorite Peter White cd. You can play the first eight tracks without having to press the "next" button on your cd player. Actually, the last two tracks aren't bad either. Perfect Moment, the fourth track on this cd, can easily make anyone reminisce. The sixth track, Autumn Day, adds a change in style by giving some beat to the cd as well as midnight in manhattan. Totally have to recommend this one for anyone looking for a solid smooth jazz cd.

On the gloomiest of days, listen to this CD and find Peter can raise you spirits and have your heart travel a road of memories. He is a masterful artist. His range of play knows no match. There isn't a track that will disappoint, though the title track, PERFECT MOMENT undeniably is just that: it can always describe the listener's one perfect moment in time as a dream and reality, all at the same time. A must have CD and certainly one of Peter's best ever.

This was my first Peter White CD and remains one of my favorites. Starting off with San Diego's catchy rhythms, it moves from upbeat to mellow and haunting. Mr. White is truly an artist, the guitar literally comes alive on every single track. His style of playing is unlike anyone else's and he is a consumate artist with the guitar. His songs always are richly alive with his unique talent and I never tire of listening to his music. This CD has been played many times yet never loses its appeal. It is a must have for any lover of Peter White, or for anyone who loves masterful guitar playing.

This is the first CD of Peter White that I purchased after becoming aware of him on a local jazz radio station. His touch on the guitar is light, smooth and the music just flows along. It's a relaxing mix of some slow and danceable music. It sounds to me as though he truly loves what he's playing. Since then, I've bought 2 of his other CDs and enjoy them every bit as much. I'm so happy to have made this discovery.

The first time I listened to this CD I was disappointed because nothing really grabbed me the way so many of the tunes on the Third Force CD's had. I put it on to listen to again while busy balancing the checkbook & had a more positive reaction the 2nd time around. I found a new appreciation for it as a perfectly pleasant accompaniment to other pursuits. (Check out the picture of Peter White on the cover for ideas). This music doesn't demand, distract, or dominate. I believe it's soothing subtlety will hold up well to repeated listening.
