I have to say as a school principal in Greenwich Village NY that I had more than a few chuckles while reading this wonderfully funny book about parenting. Parenting is a serious business, but we will only do it well if we can laugh at ourselves and this book will make you laugh.

I loved the Perfect Parents Handbook. It was hysterically funny; so funny, in fact, that every one I know is getting one for Christmas. Jennifer Conlin has a very good take on the whole parenting scene and there is nothing else like this book on the market. One of my favorite parts of the book is when she describes the way different parents approach a trip to Disney World. The photos and graphics throughout are also very funny. Every parent should read this book.

Format: Paperback
What with the state of the world and contemporary concerns, this book is a refreshing wake up call about our priorities. The author pokes fun at our myopia and paranoia about child rearing and makes us laugh, not only at others, but also ourselves. That's its power; it's fun and refreshing with a twist of revelation.

This book is a pleasure to read. The humor is laugh-out-loud funny. You will recognize the parents at preschool pick-up, your child's soccer coach, the book fair organizer, and even (gasp) yourself. It feels so good to laugh off the stress of parenting in these high-pressure times. Well done!!!
