More About the Author

I was born in a small country town in Corbyville, Ontario, Canada. The sixth of eight children that includes six boys and two girls. Leaving home at an early age to explore and find my life, I have always been in search of my path and destiny through truth and light. I currently reside in Los Angeles, CA.

A river is a metaphor for the common human experience. It rambles on, ever-flowing, from one generation to the next. Caring for the river--and for human life--continues on a cycle because its survival is directly tied to our own: without the river we will shrivel up and die. As our experiences in the human river of life float off, they connect with others causing a ripple effect, a thread of experience that weaves with those of others to create a tapestry of what it means to be human. Within this portrait of humanity there are bright, blazing suns of extraordinary, life-changing experience intermingled with an even greater number of quiet brush strokes, moments the eye may inadvertently pass over. The lesson of life, however, is that even the most subtle brush stroke can carry the intensity of a burning sun.

Of course, as often happens in the river of life, a bend in the course can raise as many questions as it answers.

Format: Paperback
This play is so beautiful and touching. I had to stop and take a breath several time before finishing because I was so over overwhelmed with emotion. A truly fantastic play and great playwright!
