My grandchild could not have a cat due to allergies, hence the purchase for Christmas. She really enjoys it, but it would be most affective if you could move the cat instead of it being in one position. Did the trick though, the cat goes to bed with her every night.

This is a great conversation piece for a toy. The realism of the cat is astonishing, especially to customers who come in the store where I work. We have the cat sitting by the children's video rentals and the children really think the kitty is sleeping. We tell them not to disturb or wake the cat and they just sit there watching it breathe. I agree with one of the reviews that suggest the cat is more movable. But in all honesty, I think it is a wonderful toy for all ages.

I bought this for my granddaughter who is crazy about cats but isn't permitted to have a live one. I was looking for a toy that would be as close as possible to the "real thing." In some ways, this product measured up. Our little one carried her cat with her for hours and loved the life-like breathing feature. However, like others, I was disappointed that there is no movement other than the breathing. I was surprised and disappointed that the cat is so hard ... no kitten softness. Biggest disappointment for me, however, was the carrying case. The zipper broke with the first zip before our granddaughter got to touch it.

We bought this as a birthday gift for my niece and she absolutely loves it.

We cannot have a real cat due to allergies. This is an excellent replacement. Most people when they first look at it, quickly think it is a real cat. My daughter has spent hours playing with her "new" pet.

This is really cute and most people think it is a REAL sleeping cat. However, it's not. And I think about the money I spent and realized that for double the amount of money or maybe even FREE I could have a REAL cat that breathes. And MOVES..and is a REAL CAT! So I got one!
Every year thousands of cats are put to death in shelters all across the United States. Not because they're sick or old but because people don't adopt them. I'm giving this five stars because I hope that it will motivate people who buy it to consider getting a REAL cat! But it does sleep REAL!

The detail on the kitty is pretty good. My only complaint, and as others have mentioned is that the kitty is kind of hard. I expected it to be soft like a plush toy, it is hard like a robot with fur over it. Also, all it appears to do is breathe and purr a little. Not sure how long it will keep my childs attention.

I thought the cat looked kinda ferral when it came but the fur fluffed out some and it looked better. My granddaughter loves it and thats all that counts.
