I was hopeful...Have a Senseo single serve coffee maker which has been wonderful. Wish I could say the same for this product. I have never reviewed a product, ever...til now. Don't know why I felt so compelled. Maybe it's because so much of what we all buy today has such a short product life? The manufactures of these need to know this. My Pod Maker lasted three months, using it once a day for one pod, no more. This means I used it less than 100 times. So what happened? Heating element stopped working, like it has for others. I'm sure the seller of these know they fail. Now it's your turn to fail...fail to purchase. Stay away!

Have owned this for several months, and have made my own pods twice now. The first time wasn't as successful (you have to make sure your coffee grinds are the right consistency - medium setting for my grinder), but the second time after making the grind adjustment, they worked perfectly! It's nice to make the pods out of your own coffee preferences and I haven't had any trouble with the pod maker heating. Well worth the money.

I've purchased two of these, and both of them burned out. Worked well for a while, and then just wouldn't heat again. Great when they worked; just for a short term unfortunately.

Purchased two of these - one as a gift. The heating element went out on one of the two after just a few uses. Tried to get a response from the company without success. Amazaon gave me the phone numbers but after leaving messages on the numbers given - I gave up. The idea is great and when it worked it was great but the cost is too great for just using a few times.
