Perfect Solutions Jeweled Lifetime Nail File

This is the cutest little purse must have. But it's not at all practical. I imagined it would be very smart to have and since it was bille as a lifetime nail file...gone are the days of never finding a file when you need one. Well it will last a lifetime because I'll hardly use it. It is more like a pumice stone than file and it's round shape does not suit well for shaping. It is unwieldy at best. But it will file a little bit if you just wanna be cute, and it is cute...

So, I always scratch my sunglasses because of my nail file in my purse; when I saw this little jewel case, I thought my dilemma was over...SAD FACE. First of all, the case is kinda cheap looking, which I can look past, but the file itself is so rough and impossible to use unless you've got talon length nails. I work with my hands everyday, so short nails are a must AND they are forever snagging, splitting, or breaking. When I use this file, my fingertips get sanded, too- it's a thick file with beveled edges that are rough! There is no fine side, either. Or if there is, I can't determine which it is. If you have long, thick/artificial nails, this would be ideal, but not for natural nails.

This is a pumice stone, too thick to get under your nail and the corners of it. It looks ok, but does not make sense to use as a product unless you have really long nails and don't want to file precisely. I found it didn't file finely enough either. I'm sure it lasts forever, but my short nails would also be ugly forever if I used it...
