This was an excellent Jazz Vocal CD, by a lesser known, but well-equiped singer, backed by a superior band, featuring intersting tunes.

The CD "A Perfect Time" from Janis Mann is a great collection of songs interpreted with perfection. Janis Mann has perfect intonation and is fun to listen to as she scats and uses her voice like an instrument.It's a very relaxing CD, one that my wife and I listen to after the kids go to bed to wind down to let the stress of the day melt away. We would highly recommend this CD and any other album Janis Mann has put out. She truly has a gift and we're glad she's sharing it with us. |
