This is an excellent CD. Very difficult to locate a copy and can be somewhat expensive but worth every penny. The recording has been remastered from the original master tapes and sounds great even on high end audio gear. Bryan Duncan is at his best on this disc. Sweet Comfort Band's music still sounds awesome 25 years later since they hit the Christian Rock Music Scene. Their lyrics can be appreciated by all audiences and have the ability to break through the emotional walls that we put up. This album will take you for a ride. The entire album is awesome. I purchased the album when it was released in the early 80s and never thought it would be released on cd. Whether you are a conservative or liberal christian this is one disc everyone can agree with. Check out their song "Habit of Hate".

Those of us who saw SCB in the `70s were devoted fans and they were writing and recording some of the best pop music of the era.

When their out-of-print debut came out the same time BOSTON's debut did, SCB outsold them in some stores in S. CA, SCB's base.

They were THAT popular and that good.

That being said, they did have a certain "sameness" album after album and some in-fighting took its toll toward the end--solo careers/bands were waiting so "Perfect Timing" was the result.

Not a great record -- HEARTS and BREAKIN' THE ICE are probably their best, musically and lyrically.
