I bought this because I really like Paul Oakenfold and he mixed this cd. Thank god he doesn't sound like this anymore. Maybe it's just dated, but this cd is a mix of Jock Jams and really cheesey house anthems

I hadn't heard of this cd before I saw it in the store, and I got it because it's Oakenfold. But this isn't the same Oakenfold sound as on his Cream Resident cd, or his Global Underground NY cd, and certainly not like his essential mixes. The first three tracks are terrible, though after that it's not as bad, though compared to some of Oakie's stuff, this is trash. The few songs that aren't completely horrible are what stopped me from giving this a 1. Save your money and get Tranceport, or head over to the Sasha section.

This disc does not deserve the bad rap it gets. Yes, it is not Tranceport. Get over it. However, the mix between tracks 8+9 is as bout as good as it gets. Tilt and BT go together real well.

Don't just buy cds because of a name. Oakenfold is incredible don't get me wrong, but man this cd just well... its not what you'd expect. yea these are mostly just club tracks from the late 90's. Go ahead and just get a different mix by him. but still becarful what you get. You might not like it.

MYSELF AS A DJ RECOMENDS BUYING THIS CD WHICH IS MIX BY PAUL OAKENFOLD ONE OF THE BEST DJS AROUND THE WORLD THE LAST 4 TRACKS GRACE , TILT, BT AND MAN WITH NO NAME ARE REALLY COOL AND BESIDES THIS TRACKS ARE FIND TO HARD ON OTHER COMPILATIONS YOU WILL FIND THEM ONLY ON VINYL OR CD SINGLES.

This album is just as good ad DJ Burchett's album released....good work!

Man with no name is one of the best trance artists around.... get his trax!!!!!!!

got this when it first came out in 95, it was always playing in my cd player/car! one of the best from paul in his hay days....i love the remake of Dreams, when it first covered by another artist other that stevie nicks. grace was my fave too (who know what's happened to her?), Skin on skin was a sexy dance number, when you are dancing with someone on the dancefloor... it sure deserves 5 stars from me!

its not a bad cd. its a bad trance compilation, as oakies presence strongly entails, but this being more of a house work, comparable to "modern day" recordings such as disc one of club nation miami 2002, i gave it three stars. not bad house. just dont call it "trance"

this is not oakies best work but it still beats some of the slow "trance" junk out there. It may sound a little weird at first, but who else mixes trance with gospel(i dont know how to spell it) the first and third song are just terrible, there is not really any oakie contribution to the first and third song, the second song is allright, and as you ge6t twarrd the end the songs get better, song 8 is probibly the best song on the cd, although if you are low on cash i would reccomend this cd, comopared to oakies other cd's this one is about 6 bucks cheaper(probibly because nobody wants it)
