A better Perfecto,

So disc one is good. Excellent background chill/late-trance music with only one initially awkward breaktro to it that turns into a nice blend.
The final song on disc one by Deep Dish, yeah that could have been left off, as it's vibe isn't just quite right with the rest of the album. It may stand as a single just fine (and it can), but as an "album" piece maybe it could have gone elsewhere as the fit isn't tailoresque like we'd expect from the Brits. Disc 2. Hmm so far. Seems like I've heard Nouvelle Vague's 'Love Will Tear Us Apart' on a few albums. But maybe I'm not hearing enough albums....? Feels like 4 others have it, I could be wrong. This is the "singles" album of the 2, which is unfortunate. The multi-disc one-groove days might be over for Perfecto, and that will be a sad day indeed, for Oakenfold fans as well. It's good song by song, don't get me wrong at all, I would just like more album-fluidity. Can't really pick a favorite on disc 2, maybe the bassline from "All Over You" in a Shaft appreciation blaxploitation thing. And as a finish it's very leaving me wanting more...but that's because it feels like it finally may hit the right continual blend. So, overall, don't view this as 2 discs to be listened to back to back to keep vibe. This is one good solid disc (1) and one good singles disc (2), not to be expected as a pair....that's with a buzz....

A good, laid back CD,

Though not as good as Perfecto Chills Vol. 1 ( one of my favorite CD's), it is a better edition than Vol. 2, and is a good CD to listen to if you want to relax or just chill. Most songs have the same feel, but vary enough to avoid redundancy. The mix of chill/dance/electronica/alternative artists include some well know and some lesser known artists, but all tracks are true to the CD's chill theme. Standout tracks include Zoo York (Oakenfold), Dream Machine (Mark Farina), Safe from Harm (Massive Attack), One Step too Far (Dido featuring Faithless), Push (Lemon Jelly), and Clear Day (Ulrich Schnauss),
