5.0 out of 5 stars Human Factors for the Pilot, April 9, 2007
This review is from: Human Performance and Limitations for the Professional Pilot (Airlife Pilot's Handbooks) (Paperback)
This is a well written book that pilots, flight operations managers, flight operations directors, regulators, safety managers and aeronautical engineering students and those engaged in a serious study of human factors for aviators will find useful, helpful and handy.

Safety is the number one priority in the aviation industry. To improve safety levels, attention has traditionally been focused on improving equipment, techniques and regulations. However, safety has not improved much and is getting worse with the increase in traffic. Hence the attention to human factors considerations with respect to performance of flight crew which the author highlighted as a means to minimising accidents.

David Robson clearly explains the various issues and factors that can adversely affect the performance of a pilot which managers need to take into account when rostering pilots. This is recommended reading to enhance safety in the aviation industry.
