Overall,ok. Some good running drills, but nothing new if you are a seasoned runner. Was not impressed with the conditioning section. Exercises were very basic. If you've been to a gym in the last 5 years, you've seen these moves.

Nice. It has seperated each component of middle distance running (power, speed, speed endurance, endurance ect.)and given ways to work on each. Some good guidlines.

A must for your coaching library. An easy to read and understand comprehensive training book for the 800m. and 1500m. runner. Arthur Lydiard's "Running To The Top" is an excellent companion book. A great 1-2 punch.
