Seem robust enough to do the job, and with this set one can more or less adapt any socket to any driver. The display card / storage device is a bit finicky and I doubt it'll last all that long, but after all it is primarily for display, not necessarily storage.

I was looking for a complete set of socket adapters (1/4, 3/8, 1/2) so I could get the most out of my existing socket set. Sometimes a small space needs a socket that I only have in 3/8 but only allows use of the smaller 1/4 driver, or worse a bolt for which I only have 3/8 bit is torqued down so hard I need the long 1/2 driver. Similarly, these adapters also increas the flexibility of my torque wrenches: Mountain 1/2-inch Drive Torque Wrench and Mountain 3/8" Drive Torque Wrench

The added value with this particular set is the included U joint adapters. However, if you already own a set of U joint adapters you should check out this product instead: Neiko Professional Grade 8-Piece Impact Socket & Adapters - Reducer Set. Alternatively, if you are looking for just U joint adapters I would recommend: Neiko Heavy Duty 3-Piece Universal Impact Joint Socket Set. However, if you pick-up this set you'll save about $5 and get both.

These are high quality bits that will last a lifetime and come with a warranty to back it up.

So why not five-stars? The packaging on the product was less than stellar. The adapters are supposed to twist off the plastic swivels but several of the swivels were broken and I had to resort to pliers to get the adapters free. Not a big problem, just frustrating.

i tested this set out several times at the junkyard. they held up w/no problems. very durable, the U-joints are really useful for reaching impossible angles when trying to break fasteners loose. well worth the money i paid for them.

These have held up great so far. I do home garage auto work, brakes, fluids, axles, and most everything else and these work great.

no breaks or issues.
