Peerless guitar virtuoso, Jeff Beck, awed and amazed London concert audiences with his series of concerts at the elite Ronnie Scott's jazz club in Late 2007. His live performances were praised by the London Times, The Guardian, The Independent and Classic Rock Magazine. No electric guitarist has the mastery, riffs, diversity and ingenuity of Jeff Beck. He enthralled the crowd with blistering versions of "Scatterbrain", "Brush With The Blues", "Beck's Bolero" and "Behind The Veil". "Stratus" was the paramount jazz fusion song on the CD. The ethereal, emotive and tender "Cause We've Ended As Lovers" and "Angel (Footsteps)" can send shivers throughout your spine. "Big Block" is brilliantly intricate and thunderous. "Blast From The East" and "Nadia" are exotic and exquisite gems. His sterling rendition of "A Day In The Life" was triumphant. Last but never least is the inimitable and poignant "Where Were You". These amazing concerts were attended by Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Brian May, Tony Iommi, Robert Plant and other stars. An imminent DVD is expected to feature two blues jams featuring Eric Clapton. Jeff Beck is in his vintage prime at age 64.

I cannot recommend this more . A veritable treasure trove journey through Becs's career , making old songs sound new again. The four piece band sounds like 20 players.
Do not be afraid that it is a live recording. The recording is better than most studio creations. UNBEATABLE !!!!!

If you are any fan of Jeff Beck you must immediately stop anything you are doing and download this now! This is a must have. Imagine the hummilation if you miss out. Put all Christmas gifts aside for any and everyone else and download this for yourself! You will not be disappointed. Now if you'll excuse me I have some new Jeff Beck to listen to! This is your Christmas present and you don't need anything else! Happy Holidays.

I don't know if this recording is a single show or a mix of several. What I do know is it is incredible! The virtuosity & mix of styles are fascinating. I cannot wait for the DVD. When it shows here get it! I will!

I wonder why this has been discontinued? I did the pre-order and received it Monday. Sounds very good. I've read other reviews on the other 2 live recordings. This CD is the one to have. Saw him 3 years ago. Second best concert I've seen in my life. Words cannot describe how great JB really is. Nobody comes close.

I don't understand this, Amazon has been promoting this for over a month that it is coming out on Nov. 25, 2008. I am counting the days, glad to get anything new from Jeff Beck. Now it is discontinued and seems like there aren't very many available ? I don't have this yet, but I know it will be great, I saw Jeff at a local casino and bought the Official Bootleg there, and it is really good, so I know this will be good.

Having witnessed Beck's explosive set at Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival back in June, this CD is a spectacular facsimile of that performance-- the man is a Wizard!
