Sir Simon Rattle was born in Liverpool and studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London.

Between 1980 and 1998, Rattle was Principal Conductor and Artistic Adviser of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, then Music Director. This soundtrack is a perfect match, scene for scene to the film. Hauting and slow for the most part, perfect music for unwinding at the end of the day.

the fact that a human composed this score is not something i could simply comprehend, sometimes we watch a movie, finish it and remember nothing, or we watch it and remember the movie itself, but rarely... we watch the movie and get intoxicated by the soundtrack...
i rate this at 5 stars becuase it has been playing for 12 days none stop... now i'm addicted to nights with a glass of chardonnay and this soundtrack...
