Okay, so as far as books go- this one is quality. It shipped here quickly, it's compact and in good condition, etc. Now, as far as Shakespeare goes, this book has lots of helpful anecdotes and such for each of the plays. If you get this book for an audition monologue or some other such activity (like a scene for class, since obviously you're not going to just read the part you are performing) I recommend also looking at other editions of the same scene. Each editor changes the meanings of a character's speech with things like commas, semi-colons, colons, dashes, exclamations, periods, etc. This version has a very clear view, and largely I liked it. But there are some editions that had little ideas I liked better, and I subsequently added them to the mix. Overall though, an interesting read.
