Customer Reviews

A must have book for anyone in medicine.

The chapters that discuss the varying diseases that affect pediatric/neonatal patients are very vague and just give a brief overview of the disease.
Amazon Customer
Great book, very informative, easy reading, structured extremely well.

Essential. This book is the essential text book. Some topics are a little behind the times, but not by much. The heart disorder section is confusing. But you need this book to be a respiratory therapist.

This required text for my program proved to be very helpful when studying for the NBRC boards. It's easy to understand and read, and has very useful information. I have referenced it several times.

This book is comprehensive and well assembled. During the Neonate course I took, it was quite helpful with "fairly" quick reference capabilities. I'm happy with it, and still use it as a reference text. I particularly appreciate the reference material on current ventilators.

The only down side to this book is at the end of the chapters there are review questions and the answers are not in the back of the book. Instead you have to log onto a separate web site, which requires you to creat an account and get the answers that way. It's a little troublesome, but otherwise the book is very informative and well written.
