Periscope O.K., F.O.V. a little small,

The construction of this periscope is acceptable but the F.O.V. (Field Of View) is a little small. What this means is what you see is a small image surrounded by a lot of dark (the color of the inside of the tube).
For a simulation, look through a long tube with no optics such as a wrapping paper tube. Still, it is good enough to use to look over fences or around corners; and it seems to be built fairly sturdy. A better periscope is C-Star Educational Series Periscope, although it costs more at Amazon, I found one locally for $12.00. |
