First it's a compact keyboard but not too small so don't expect full size space.

The outer case is brushed aluminum, the opening and sliding mechanism is well designed, the keys have a nice feel to them - just like a good laptop keyboard.

As you can read, they apologized for referring me to Google and are working on a solution.

I was looking for a small bluetooth keyboard to use with my Nook HD (android tablet). I'm used to using netbooks, so I wanted a smaller than standard keyboard. The width is almost exactly the same as my Aspire One netbook keyboard, but the keys are considerably shorter. The top two rows (F-keys and number keys) and the bottom row (control keys and space) are a little more than half of normal key height. The remaining keys are about 3/4 the height of full size keys. Since I'm used to a netbook keyboard, the width doesn't bother me at all. The height of the keys took a bit of getting used to though - it feels much more cramped.

The construction of this keyboard is top notch. The outer case is brushed aluminum, the opening and sliding mechanism is well designed, the keys have a nice feel to them - just like a good laptop keyboard. The bluetooth works flawlessly - it connected with almost zero effort. The manual is written in good English as well -- this is no cheap Chinese knockoff. It's a little thicker than some of the other keyboards out there, and definitely heavier (it's made of metal after all), but I'm confident it will last for a long time. It's already taken a spill off my desk onto hardwood floor, and not a scratch, dent, or anything.

I also really like this keyboard because when it's unfolded, there's no break in the center. The keys fit together like puzzle pieces as it unfolds. Many of the cheaper folding keyboards out there have a space right down the center of the keys, for the hinge. The right shift key placement was also critical for me - I can deal with a half shift key, so long as it's on the LEFT side of the up arrow, not the right.

If you can deal with the shorter keys, this is the folding bluetooth keyboard to get.

I have been looking for a decent folding wireless keyboard for my iPad. This one looked interesting. It's well built with quality materials, giving it a great feel and key response, but the keys are so small and cramped that it is very difficult to type on if you're used to bigger keyboards. I learned to touch type when I was much younger, so it's a bit frustrating to type on it. I have to look at it when I type to avoid making a lot of mistakes.

The keyboard opens up flat, and the rubber feet on the base keep it solidly in place on a table. There is no lock in the unfolded position, so it isn't suited for lap use. It is a full function Windows keyboard including a row of dedicated function keys. Unfortunately, the top two rows (function and number keys) are tiny, and the backspace key at the end of the numbers row is way too small. It's impossible to hit it unless you look first. The rest of the keys aren't bad, albeit smaller and tighter spaced than a full size keyboard. The Enter key is reasonably large. It has decent sized arrow keys. IMHO, it would have been better if they'd made the Number keys do double duty as Fn keys and made the keys larger. The hinge falls right under my right thumb when I rest my fingers on the keyboard, but that can't be changed. Unfortunately, the keyboard is unusable for me.

It was easy to connect to my iPad. It was recognized with no problem. Because it's made for Windows, it does not have iOS specific function keys. But, that was expected.

I have a Think Outside Stowaway wireless folding keyboard for PDAs. It's about the same size as the Periboard-806, but it has no function keys and the keys are larger and spaced out more. Therefore, it is almost the same feel as a full-size keyboard and is usable for touch typing.

After reading some of these reviews, I had a difficult decision between this keyboard and another Perixx keyboard made of plastic with a seam down the middle. I knew I would be more comfortable on a keyboard laid out more like a netbook, so I chose this one even though the other had better reviews. I am SO GLAD I did!

The engineering and machining of this little gem is absolutely top quality and it is a beautiful design. It is a bit heavy, but I don't mind because it sits nicely on my leg and doesn't collapse like other folding keyboards can, and I'm not worried if it gets knocked about in my purse a little bit. Learning to unfold the device takes a little practice...don't force it. I wonder how many of the complaints here come from forcing the keyboard, perhaps unseating some connectors. To open, undo the latch and raise the "top" to almost straight up. Then, with your left hand, put your thumb on the catch protrusion and gently pull the keyboard to the left...the whole thing slides so that the battery case/transmitter/back assembly ends up in the middle, which makes this keyboard stiffer than most other folding models.

Because of the size, I don't think I would recommend it to guys with big hands, but I have large hands for a female and had no difficulty touch typing on it almost immediately. If you can touch type on a netbook, you can touch type on this. The scissor keys reproduce a perfect laptop keyboard feel, it is very quiet, and the only adaptation I had to make was learning to type the space bar with my left thumb only. I even found myself standing around at a tech event, holding the keyboard in one hand and typing with the other...I'm not sure that would have been possible with a less massively constructed device.
