Yep. I'm not kidding. I have been looking for this "back-up" humming bird feeder for a years... and why in God's creation I never thought of going right off to Amazon is a tribute to my 20th century thinking. THIS IS THE BEST FEEDER. Period. Cleans up real nice. NEVER drips. All round fantastic and the price... such a deal. I'm buying three. Two for the "kids" and my back up. God Bless. Take care. Stay Safe. Merry Christmas. And rugged???? Did I mention RUGGED??? I've had mine for 4-5 years now. Trust me. Buy it.

I loved this feeder the first 6 months I had it. Excellent quality, no leaks, easy to rinse and refill. Attracted and fed many lil hummers!

UNTIL...

The weather warmed and the wasps returned. Now they are beginning to make a home in it. I'm so sad to have to take it down, but I can't encourage wasps on my deck. So with a heavy heart, I'm off to hunt for a more wasp resistant feeder.

Amazon, shame for selling this. Shame on me for not realizing I would get what I paid for. This feeder looks great in the photo, but it a real piece of junk when you open the shipping box. It doesn't even come IN a box of its own. Held together with incompletely "shot" staples, nothing is aligned properly. And worst of all, the plastic parts of the bottle and feeding flowers don't fit together, so it leaks sugar water all over my patio. Try something else, folks. Don't be mislead by its attractive appearance.

I got this hummingbird feeder as a Christmas present for my mother. She was very pleased, as was I. It's aesthetically pleasing (my mom said it looked 'cool') and is easy to fill and hang, and because it's 16 oz, it's not one of the feeders you have to go outside and refill constantly. I'm very happy with it.
The hummingbirds seem to be more attracted to it than their old feeder. I believe it's due to the plastic flowers. They seem to enjoy it, and we sure do enjoy watching them.

I have really enjoyed my wishing well hummingbird feeder. It does attract wasps during the later part of the season--but, I try and brush them away to discourage them sticking around. The current issue I've discovered is in finding a replacement bottle. The "shatterproof" 16 oz. plastic bottle just shattered when I went to refill it for spring. Granted it's been outside all winter, it's plastic, etc. But it dried up and broke quite easily--with a simple twist. I'd like to buy a replacement (preferrably glass or stronger material). But cannot find a source. Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks!

Brass roof, leather strap, quality wood construction.

I just hung this in the branches of a tree I look at every day and it looks great. I was very pleased with the construction. I'm just waiting for the hummers to arrive in my neighborhood :)

The bottle was awkward to remove and difficult to clean. The ports were impossible to keep clean. It leaked. It became covered with icky black mildew. It attracted swarms of ants and bees. It became so gross and disgusting, I threw the thing out within a month after getting it.

I was very unhappy with this bird feeder when i received it. The copper top was different colors and the wood was jagged and splintered.

The feeder is very hard to fill and the color of the flowers and bottle have faded out after only one summer. If you want to feed hummers, buy something else!!!

I loved this feeder when I got it because it looked exceptional and has the little roof to keep the rain from deluting the nectar but...it leaked from day one so much I had to take it down. No matter what I did it still leaked. When I would bring it in to refill I would find earwigs and ants in it and it was attracting Yellow Jackets constantly and they were chasing my hummers away. It is a shame I can't use it because it is so nice looking but my hummers didn't think so because they don't like sharing their nectar with all the bees and other insects it attracted. I would have returned it but I didn't want to pay the return shipping.
