I have used this style hummingbird feeder for several years. It works wonderfully well with clear homemade nectar. The flower-shaped feeders each have a small amount of red around their center. It is much more attractive than the red plastic feeders. However, it is definitely overpriced here at $25+. The local hardware stores and WalMart all sell this feeder for under $13 each.

I've had this feeder for about 3 weeks now and have used it daily since - plenty of time to evaluate it and say that this is a great feeder and definitely worth buying.
Pros:
* Beautiful vintage look
* Absolutely no leaks
* Glass bottle, metal flower feeders, and only lowermost piece if plastic
* Easy to clean (with a bottle brush)
* Reasonably priced, here and elsewhere
* Comfortable enough for birds to perch and rest on while feeding
* Hummingbirds love it (you don't need red)
Cons:
* 10 oz capacity may be a bit small for some, depending on your birdie turn-out, but here in Los Angeles, CA, a smaller capacity is just fine because in the warmer months you have to clean out the feeders often anyway
* The metal hook is a bit narrow to fit easily on certain brackets (the sugar solution will spill out when you tip it), but we just added a bit of rope to extend it
* None, really!

I have had this a year or two (I don't remember when I got it, but I had it before I moved). The bottle is glass. The base has two parts for easy cleaning (very important with hummingbird feeders), to clean the narrow necked bottle you will need to get a bottle cleaning brush. The top of the base is thin metal while the base is green plastic. The bottle is hung by a piece of metal. This metal makes it so you have to hold it while filling so you need to be able to pour with one hand. This part also rusts (fwiw I had mine in a tree, perhaps under a porch it wouldn't corrode so fast). I like that the flowers don't have yellow (which attracts bees) and don't drip, but the enamel can chip off.

The "beige a flor" or Hummingbird is not the only colorful sugar swallowing little peckerhead you will see when you watch the visitors to this lovely well made feeder. I get yellow bellied sap suckers and other occasional small long beaked nectar swallowers. This feeder is easier to keep clean than plastic models that get a black mildew on them. Health and a clean feeder are important to the fragile little flyers. This is a good all around pick for decent volume, ease of cleaning, and an attractive appearance. Oh yeah, and you can't beat the price even in a plastic model. I bought it as a gift for my mother who has an antique bottle collection. She loves it. The hummingbirds in New Mexico are more colorful than the ones here in South America but worldwide they all like a place to rest a moment and have a nice drink.

We have had this feeder up now for about 2 months.
We are very happy with this hummingbird feeder. It is simple to fill. Holds a good amount. Is very pretty hanging up.
The construction appears to be very solid. Especially nice is the way the bottle screws into the tray. Only 3 pieces. We think it will last a long time.
We could not be more pleased.

I like it because works perfect and it is not twee, I bought 2 one for me, the other as a present for friend who is interior design, she loved it.

I really like this feeder, however,be careful if you use boiling water to kill germs in the feeder because now my metal thing with those 4 feeding places is distorted due to the hot water. Also, I would suggest to buy this feeder in Walmart. It costs 14.00. I bought here from Ozlo and paid 19 including shipping.

I got this feeder last year and had very little interest from the hummers. Not sure if it was the location, not on their flight path or what. My neighbors down the block got lots of hummers, so I knew they were in the neighborhood.

So this year I moved it to a more secluded area. Because there was so very little red on it, I also spray painted the metal top bright red (I left the green petals green). Not sure if it's the paint or the location change (or both), but I get lots of hummers now.

It's attractive, easy to take apart/put together and clean and doesn't hold too much - good for the high heat of summer, when my homemade nectar goes cloudy in just a couple of days. A good beginner's feeder that looks a lot nicer than the plastic ones. My only suggestion would be for Perky-Pet to add perches, so the little guys can take a break while eating.

I'm ordering Perky-Pet's red glass bottle feeder now, to see how that works out. I think it'll be a nice addition to the garden.

This feeder is a great looking feeder and works well. However it is made of glass and the first one I received was broken. They immediately sent me out another one!!

Reserving judgement on the intact product, however the fact that the plastic connector to the glass bottle was broken off of the plastic bottom tray during shipment does not bode well. On the bright side, an Amazon representative was apologetic, courteous and quick to arrange a replacement at no cost, with overnight shipping.
