These little beads are the greatest. You do need a pegboard to do this though. If you already have a few, get this jar. You can print ideas at thier website, then the kids can count the beads and match the colors, making it educational as well. A parent does need to iron them, but at 20 secs each, it doesn't take long. The 22,000 container has about 40 different color shades, and the possabilities are endless.

The value of these beads is really great but keep in mind that it is twenty two THOUSAND, and that sorting for colors is very frustrating as is trying to find a specific color by rooting through the large plastic jar. I suggest this if you are not too picky about color while you are designing your perler creations, but for specific colors, try buying beads pre-sorted in individual colors - I cannot stress this enough - trying to sort these beads by hand will drive you crazy.

I have bought these big containers of beads and yes sorting is time consuming, but I gotta tell you it is very worth it in the long run if you are trying to save on money. We do alot of arts and crafts in my home so we are always looking for ways to save, we created our own christmas decorations this yr. the whole tree was covered in just what we created, it looked amazing and they last for yrs to come! I hope everyone else enjoys them as much as we do =)

I was hesitant to buy this. Who really wants 22,000 small beads in their house. This is a great 'keep the kids busy' product. Love it!

Its surprising how quickly 20 kids can go through beads! This jar is a great value for the amount that you get. I wish some of the more popular colors were increased but it just makes the kids be a little more creative.

Lots and lots of many colors. Will provide many days, months etc. of creative activity Use with forms or blank boards.

I played with these as a kid. Lots of fun. I definitely miss those days in creating little masterpieces.

I just wanted to say that a friend's 3 year old son accidentally stuck one of these up his nose! They had to get medical help to retrieve it. He's OK, by the way. The product description has a recommended age of 5 years and up. Please make sure to follow those rules! I don't know if this situation could have happened to a 5 year old child, but please make sure to be extra careful when using this product around children at any age, just to be on the safe side :).

My children loves these beads; the jar doesn't come with any templates so be sure to buy some of those. This is a great refill kit and keeps the colors and projects coming. Love these beads.

These beads are so fun. My kids just love making designs and animals with these beads. There are a bunch of different peg board available to create fun designs. My kids spend hours playing with them.

A great big pile of beads for a good price. What more could you ask for? Some might say, "Some peg boards to put them on." Fair enough, but this is a refill kit, so it doesn't come with any of the boards. If you already have the boards, the kids can have hours of fun with these beads.
