I have both a 2-faucet kegerator with a tower that has standard stainless faucets and a 4-faucet keezer that uses these stainless Perlick faucet/shank combos. After comparing both for several months I think the Perlick faucets are much, much nicer. While the standard faucets sometimes stick and feel a little "rough," the Perlicks have never stuck or clogged and the handle movement feels much smoother and more precise.

I bought these combo kits to install into a wood collar on a Danby chest freezer that I have hooked up to a Johnson Controls Digital Thermostat Control Unit to use as a keezer. They were easy to install, and the kits included everything I needed to get them working. The only additional thing I would suggest buying is a Draft Faucet Spanner Wrench. I tried hand-tightening the faucets and just couldn't get them tight enough to stop them from dripping. Once I used a faucet wrench they fit together perfectly and I haven't had a single problem.

Perlick faucets are definitely worth the price, and I would recommend this all-in-one kit to anyone who is building or upgrading a home kegerator or keezer.

I've bought four of these now, and after having tried to source the parts individually elsewhere I'm confident that I got these parts for the absolute cheapest I could in this combo kit. That said, for whatever reason the shanks in the second pair I bought (I purchased a pair, twice, about 6 months apart) are shorter the first pair. It doesn't affect me in my setup in any way whatsoever, but be cognizant of how long the shanks are when purchasing. It currently says 4-1/8" for the shank; while I haven't checked to see which of the pairs of shanks I have are actually 4-1/8" in length, I know I have two different lengths in the keezer now so the description is incorrect (or the wrong parts were sent) for one of the pairs. If you're installing in a tight space or have built your keezer to have a small clearance space at the back of the shank, double-check what you can fit inside your setup before ordering.

For anyone thinking of going with anything but stainless steel from the nipple to the faucet mouth, the adage of 'pay more, buy once' applies here. Don't go cheap on the one part of your setup that you and your guests will actually be exposing your body to. These are well built, easy to disassemble for cleaning, and you don't have to run all over your city or make multiple orders on the internet to get the whole enchilada. Highly recommended.

Seriously, this tap is great. The forward sealing ball really keeps down on fruit flies in the basement. It pours like a dream. I'm in love.

I read many reviews of other cheaper faucets and I did not want to risk it, so I bought the Perlick faucets. They work and look beautiful! I'm so glad I didn't go with cheaper faucets that would get gummed and stuck.
I totally recommend these faucets. I would also recommend buying caps to plug them up when you're not using them. Cheers!

These faucets are very smooth to operate. The shank with integrated barb is nice because it is one less place for a leak in a pressurized system. If you don't already own one, order/purchase a faucet wrench

Great taps! I recommend them over the cheaper ones. The cheap ones gumm up over time and get nasty looking. These will last for many years and look professional too.

I popped this into the line from the keg and it has been great. I almost had a kegco tap but the reviews on the Perlick completely changed my mind. There is maybe one or two drops after the tap is closed and its easy to clean. Thanks Perlick
