This product did a great job of filling in the scrapes and rash that my car has. When you sanded the filler it looked great. However, the paint is a different story. The paint blends at an average level but leaves a paint texture. It is pretty obvious that you have taken a cheap can of paint and painted it. If you can find a better paint to go with this product you will have a great looking wheel. The paint that comes with this product is not a good paint for a wheel.

While the repair material will suffice for a quick repair on the everyday wheel, you will most likely have buy paint that will match your wheel anyway bringing up the total cost of repair. This might make getting a professional repair nearly as cheap. Don't try to use this on a quality wheel. I ended up getting a professional repair anyway.

I bought this to fix some damage on the alloy wheels on my wife's Honda Accord. The filler was easy to work with and did a good job of filling in the damage. The problem is the "one size fits all" paint can they give you. It is unlikely to be an exact match so you end up with wheels with two colors of paint. You are better off trying to find a color match from a dealer. They also don't send you any clearcoat which you need to finish the paint job.

I've used this kit to repair a deep scratch and some small areas of wheel rash on 3 wheels from a VW Golf and a Mini. Unlike what others have posted, the color match is excellent and the repairs are virtually undetectable. Technique is important. If you prep the area and sand carefully you should be very pleased with the results. I did have to sand and respray an area on one wheel because I had a paint drip, but it came out fine. I have read that the paint is actually duplicolor silver. Shake it for at least 1 full minute before spraying. I'm not sure how well other wheel colors match up, but it's perfect for VW and Mini. Note that I only did spot refinishing, not the whole wheel, a little polishing after the paint is fully dry makes the blended area undetectable.

it doesnt give you a professional finish because it's hard to match the color with your rim. but ofcourse its good that it covers the curb rash
