It is not magic,

Good to soften rust on iron, however it is not magic, some sanding before and after applying is needed. Also, a second or third coat is needed to complete the job. Unable to remove the rust from a forged steel piece with all those pores.

I lightly srubbed the rust and other build up with a wire brush which made the scars on my Jeep look much better. I then dabbed the rust with Naval Jelly using a q-tip for application and waited for 10 minutes then rinsed with water. The Naval Jelly got rid of all of the rust on the first try except for the areas that I hadn't scrubbed enough lose rust and paint off of first. Bottom line, do adequate prep work and the stuff will work great but be forewarned that it can discolor the metal (which I was fine with as I was painting over it anyway).

Tried to remove rust from a bicycle. It didn't work miracles, but it, in conjunction with sandpaper did the job.
