Brian Huey was born in Westlake, Ohio. He went on to receive a BS and BA from the University of North Carolina, where he competed as a springboard diver. After working in corporate America for a few years, he ventured out as an entrepreneur. Since those early years, he has owned businesses in advertising, manufacturing, and finance, all the while writing the PERPETUAL series. His inspiration comes from his own adventures in life and business, having experienced firsthand that reality is stranger than fiction. Brian competes as a master's swimmer and triathlete. He, and his family live near Charlotte, North Carolina.
Perpetual delivers. From the intricate opening sequence to the cleverly crafted details, the reader is taken on a delicious journey with many memorable characters. The driving force for the journey is as topical as current headlines. There are enough twists to keep even the most ardent reader of high-octane fiction entertained. My key test was that Perpetual left me wanting more. I look forward to the next book in this series.
Brian Huey does a masterful job as he takes you on a roller coaster ride of intrique and adventure. The characters are well developed and the story keeps you turning page after page anticipating the next twist in the plot.
I am waiting with eager anticipation for the 2nd part of the trilogy.
Brian Huey is the new Robert Ludlam!! Perpetual is a plot-twisting, time-shifting, facinating read. I was totally absorbed in the story line as it wove from character to character, place to place and decade to decade! I can't wait for the sequel! Very well written. It's detailed enough to make sure you understand, but treats you as a sophiscitated reader. Thanks Brian!!!!
I just finished Perpetual and reallllly enjoyed this read!! Perpetual is exciting and totally engaging - it's like chocolate, absolutely addictive and hard to stop! It's a riveting adventure and makes me wonder, is this truth disguised as fiction? I can't wait for the sequel. Perpetual
It's hard to find a good book that doesn't have offensive language, isn't powered by sex and overt violence but has a great story line and keeps you interested. You can relate to the characters and feel as though you know them and want to spend time with them. I wish we had more authors like Brian Huey.
Brian Huey has written a great book that leaves you wanting the sequel right away. hurry, brian, hurry! He weaves historical facts seamlessly into the story without making it too dry. I also like the way he combines current international topics with historic ones, and somehow ties it all back to this smart kid from Maine. His writing is advanced enough to make an enjoyable read without going over your head in the technical parts. I am not an energy engineer, but I can understand the idea of what is happening. More, more, more!!
