Great summer adventure,
This review is from: Perpetual (Hardcover)
This novel is great fun and an enjoyable read. Many details are woven well within the story and you keep asking yourself why you did not see it the first time. Once you are finished with Perpetual, you want part 2 but will have to settle with a re-read. This is a great summer adventure novel as you become members of Mathew's and Maria's family.

Perpetual delivers. From the intricate opening sequence to the cleverly crafted details, the reader is taken on a delicious journey with many memorable characters. The driving force for the journey is as topical as current headlines. There are enough twists to keep even the most ardent reader of high-octane fiction entertained. My key test was that Perpetual left me wanting more. I look forward to the next book in this series.

Brian Huey is the new Robert Ludlam!! Perpetual is a plot-twisting, time-shifting, facinating read. I was totally absorbed in the story line as it wove from character to character, place to place and decade to decade! I can't wait for the sequel! Very well written. It's detailed enough to make sure you understand, but treats you as a sophiscitated reader. Thanks Brian!!!!

It's hard to find a good book that doesn't have offensive language, isn't powered by sex and overt violence but has a great story line and keeps you interested. You can relate to the characters and feel as though you know them and want to spend time with them. I wish we had more authors like Brian Huey.

Brian Huey has written a great book that leaves you wanting the sequel right away. hurry, brian, hurry! He weaves historical facts seamlessly into the story without making it too dry. I also like the way he combines current international topics with historic ones, and somehow ties it all back to this smart kid from Maine. His writing is advanced enough to make an enjoyable read without going over your head in the technical parts. I am not an energy engineer, but I can understand the idea of what is happening. More, more, more!!

Perpetual - A great escapade,
This review is from: Perpetual (Hardcover)
Intriguing novel. It kept me absorbed from start to the exciting finish. With the tale being woven around topics that are so globally current it is hard to believe this is not based on a true story. I liked the interesting way the story is written. Several times I thought I had things figured out only to be thrilled with a new twist. I will be looking forward to other books written by Brian Huey.

This book is well-written for a first novel. The plot is so exciting from page one that you're compelled to keep reading. The characters are believable and I cared for many of them. I can't wait for the next book to be released!
