I first saw the black and white Perry Mason Shows when I was a child in the 60's. I've seen some episodes many times on different networks during the years. Whereas the new DVDs are nicely catalogued with logical track breaks, this series is frustrating to watch. Though I got a good deal, $200 for 48 DVDs and 271 episodes, they are taken off the air from different networks. WGN, TBS and Hallmark mainly. Sometimes the commercials are left on. Sometimes the disc just stops at a break. They are poorly edited. Wonder if the network knows, or cares that someone is getting away with something here. There are also several discs where a show is cut off in the middle. And there is one disc where the same show is on 4 times. I suppose this may not matter to a fan of those great shows. But it does involve quite a cash lay out for such a poorly packaged product.

Sorry friends. This is rip off from a Chinese company who recorded a bunch of TV shows and put them on DVD. I got the company's Gunsmoke selection (at MUCH less money than is being asked here). They arrived on recordable DVD's with the the date and volume written on the DVD with a magic marker. Half of the shows wouldn't work on my DVD player. Most were recorded at television resolution. This is a ripoff both in terms of price and quality. This is a copyright violation - and should be removed by Amazon.

if your a real fan of this show and want the whole package, all 271 episodes, your better off buying each season, one at a time, if you try these other companys that are on the internet you will get ripped off big time, i know better than most people.
i bought the whole collection a couple of years ago and some of the disc had absolutely nothing on them, the company used at least 8 different wesite names so you had the idea that these were 8 different companies but in fact they were one company selling the same product, i paid over 150.00 dollars for this junk and they claim that they have a customer service number but no one answers, the also claim that live chat can also deal with your problems but they dont respond either, i would tell you how you can tell which of the companies are belonging to the main company but then they would just change those items and they would continue to rip people off.the other one i bought, and that was the 271 episodes also, came from a guy who meant well but the episodes were copied from television, the quality was just terrible, dont think he meant any harm he just didnt understand that what he had was junk.
right now i am buying each season one by one, would love to have the whole set but so far im out 275 dollars but im getting this collection one by one, i wish amazon would remove this ad, its only going to rip people off

I can't believe Amazon still has this offered. I, too, was ripped off. After a long delay, I finally received the discs. Most of them had nothing on them at all. Those that had something on them were erratic to say the least and certainly none of them had a complete show. Like the previous reviewers I recommend purchasing the CBS volume discs and staying completely away from this one.

I have the same problems as the other two stated, in addition, 6 discs in the middle of the series have Perry Mason lablels but what you see is the Dukes of Hazzard.
