This decorative plate is hand-painted by Roozbeh China of Tehran. It features a portrait of a Qajar Shah. The Qajar Dynasty was the ruling Persian family from 1795 until 1925. This item is in excellent condition; there are no chips or cracks. It is not dishwasher or microwave safe and is intended more for display in a china or curio cabinet than for actual use. The plate diameter is 7" (18 cm).
