I was very lucky to come across this Album first in Los Angeles and then on Amazon.For me the Album brought back memories of Iran, all its diverse cultures and its people, which even though far away, we can never be apart from. I had heard bits and pieces of Persian Folk music as I grew up on Iran's National Radio on Friday mornings in Tehran. Those are days long gone. For me this album was a link to something, which has not been tangible to me for almost thirty years, My homeland. The quality of the recording is superb. Both the Artist and the orchestra are exquisite.

Minoo Javan has a very beautiful voice - similar to Zoya Sabet - and creates special renditions of folk music of Iran, especially of the northern part. We are very much enjoying listening to her!
