wonderful Persian/classical pieces,
By A Customer
This review is from: Persian Folklore (Audio CD)
In the tradition of Bartok, Kodaly, and others, Vali takes Iranian folk motifs and applies them in a classical setting. Sweeping, dynamic strings and cello/flute duos are superb. Can't recommend it enough.

PERSIAN FOLK,

In another place I was reading that the classics aproach to the folk music is nothing new.But in this experience the classical aproach is a research about the harmony and a opportunity to perform an improvisation from the folk instrument.Beauty experience that show me another time that the freedoom is not a copy or and forengein influence to the tradition is an opportunity to think ,feel and research in a new way about ourself, and the others culture experiences are a miracle from loocking for.Excelence and simple. Thanks
