Customer Questions & Answers

Customer Reviews

The hammock was made of very thin, stretchy, and poor quality rope.
Andrea Bakhit
I wish I wouldn't have wasted my money on this and just gone for a more expensive hammock from another site.
Lauren Woolston
When trying to lay in the hammock, it stretches all the way to the ground.

Unfortunately it is not a very comfortable rope hammock. I've had two other rope hammocks and this is, hands down, the most uncomfortable. The ropes are thinner, so they dig in more than wider ropes.

Other than the comfort issue, it does its job. So if this the only one in your budget range you could put a blanket on it to lie on.

I bought this item for a frame I already owned. The picture looks exactly like the original hammock that came with the frame. It is not! It is very thin, and even when stretched to the tightest possible setting, it sags to the ground with an eleven year old in it! Very disappointing purchase. The rope is very thin and stretches like t-shirt material!

I bought this hammock because it was a fair price. Shipping was slow and when I finally received the product it can barely be classified as a rope hammock, it's more like a string hammock. When I put it up I made it as tight as it would go and the middle sags to the ground with a 100 pound person sitting in it. I am very dissapoined but can only blame myself as you get what you pay for

It's great and we love that there's room for two. But the materials aren't that strong. We already have some damage and we've only had it a few weeks.

Although I had thought this to be a thick rope hammock, it is unfortunately not. That said, it has still served me well since I bought it. I just had to put a blanket down on it to make it more comfortable. Since then, I've spent many a pleasant and lazy afternoon napping or reading on my new hammock.

This hammock is cheap - not inexpensive, but cheap. It is very poor quality. When I received mine, the metal rings were rusted. The rust had discolored the cotton webbing.

However, even if that had not been the case, I still would not have used it. It is very low-quality construction. The cotton webbing is very thin and unsubstantial. It just doesn't feel like it would be safe for one adult to lie on it, let alone two.

Because it was less than $30 when I bought it, I didn't feel like it was worth the time and effort it would have taken to return it to the seller. So, it's in my burn pile for my next bonfire.

So I guess you get what you pay for. This hammock in no way could hold two people unless they both weigh no more then 90lbs. The cotton is very weak. I have only had it one week and some of the knots are already coming apart. I went to the Christmas Tree Shop and paid the same amount for a much stronger one.
