Elvis returns to live performances in July-August of 1969. He is renewed, revitalized, and awesome! Slim, trim, tan, sporting a new look, and backed by premium musicians and backup singers. He takes back what was once his after being degraded and used by "Hollyweird", as he used to call it.
The only complaint that I have about this album is that it is too short. And I know that they had enough material to give the listener their money's worth. It may be that RCA was unsure how long his "comeback" would last. The CD does contain more tracks than the cassette of this album does, but I still feel a little cheated by RCA. I would appreciate it if RCA would re-re-package this album and add a little more content to it.
But buy this album, you will not be disappointed.
