The first time i heard this cd it made me want to get up and dance but at the same time the lyrics just made me want to cry. Their lyrics are so real they talk about life and it's problems and i love the beat of their songs. They can put a concert going because i went to one of their concerts in dominican republic and let me tell you it was the bomb!!!!!!!! your 1 dominican fan Frances.

They call themselves Adolescent's Orquesta but their talent is anything but adolescent. This album is their second production and there is no trace of sophomore jinx. If anything this album over powers the first one, which was quite good as well. All I can say is that if you truly consider yourself a salsa lover and dancer put on your dancing shoes because every track will have you moving. This is some high-energy romantic salsa with original nuances that this group his patented as their own. This salsa is truly delicious and is a new voice for Venezuela. Hopefully they will carry on the tradition of salsa as more renowned artists from their country such as Oscar D'Leon phase out and become less mainstream. Every song on this album is great but I must mention some of my favourites which are: Persona ideal, Arrepentida, and Clase social. This is a great album not to be missed by true salsa lovers.

I'M NOT THE KIND OF PERSON THAT LISTENS TO A LOT OF SALSA, BUT THEIR MUSIC IS VERY GOOD. IT MAKES YOU WANT TO DANCE. THE PIANO SOLOS ARE VERY NICE. THE LYRICS ARE VERY ROMANTIC. EXELLENT!!!!!

Definetly one of the best salsa groups from venezuela
Possibly you migh not believe me,but even before these guys hits the radio stations in venezuela these project was a success.
I was one of the choosed to join them in 1993,when they go over a stage & sing for the 1srt time,but my parents didn't want me to be part of it due my age at that time.(i'm percusionist)
However i still believe that these is just the beginning,adolescent's is here & they make their mind to remain for long time.
They new CD " BUSCAME" released on 2007 is also very good.with good songs such as "Ponte pilas" & "buscame" .providing us with more of what we already got from them.
I'm very sorry that the last train of singers have left the group,especially nelson & socrates,the best singers after Vladimir,who's the original singer of "Persona ideal".
Please remaind that these CD have two versions,one with the first singers & another one when the new singers join the group,so you can hear two interpretactions,that's because just after the CD was released the first train of singers left the group due internal affairs between them & the founder,porfy baloa.
Them the group recorded another CD with the new singers in a rush to fullfil the high demand of presentations & tours.
I guess they'll begin international presentations & hopefully hit NYC;Here in NYC we have a lack of venezuelan artists presentations

The day I lost my copy of Adolescents Orquesta's Millenium Hits on the Metro bus, I cried. And, with good reason. These guys are great. I was so relieved to find that Amazon had a used copy of "Persona Ideal," which is one of the greatest examples of their body of work. This band has been compared to Menudo (another Latino band made up of young, aspiring musicians--one of the most well known was Ricky Martin). They couldn't be more different from Menudo. Granted, these young men were all between the ages of 18 and 23, but their talent is well beyond their years. What's more, this Venezuelan band presents salsa at its best. The horn section and arrangements are tight and the vocals are beautiful. Some of the best songs are (notably) "Persona Ideal" and "Clase Social." Even if you don't speak a word of Spanish, it really doesn't matter. This will get you up and moving, no doubt.
