**NOTE: This item requires an S-Blade Assembly to work properly. S-Blade Assemblies have the letter "S" imprinted onto the metal portion of the blade. (see photo #3 above). All Tribest Personal Blenders ordered after July 17, 2006 will have S-Blades already installed.** Now you can blend, serve and store your favorite blended recipes in the same glass container with the Tribest Personal Blender Mason Jar Adapter. The Personal Blender Mason Jar Adapter allows you to use glass mason jars as the blending containers with the Tribest Personal Blender. Simply use the mason jar adapter to connect your mason jar to the blade assembly, and you're ready to go. Mason jars allow for sealed storage and neat, easy stacking, taking up less room on your refrigerator shelves. Use the mason jars to blend and store baby food, smoothies, soups, and sauces. You can also use them to grind nuts, spices, coffee beans, and much more. You can choose your favorite size, so there's no waste! If you have leftovers, you can store your recipes right in the glass jars.

The jar adapter works great and allows me to make a lot of different recipes without washing dishes between. Furthermore, all the mason jars go into the dishwasher and clean w/out work!

The adapter's rubber ring was stuck to the plastic, so the only way to get it out for washing was to rip it out, which destroyed it. Then the replacement ring, which was included, wouldn't fit without a good deal of scraping away the remaining bits of rubber that were stuck to the adapter. When I tried to contact Tribest about the problem, I received no response until I left an irrate message and said I was going to write a bad Amazon review. A customer service rep then contacted me immediately and sent a new adapter, which arrived with the exact same problem. So I ended up doing the scraping anyway. Then, after using the blender for no more than a single fruit smoothie, four or five mornings a week, for less than a year, it died. No more Tribest for me.
