Susan Reynolds (Pembroke, MA) is a journalist, author, businesswoman, and single mother who handles her own financial affairs, including managing her retirement fund. She wrote Change Your Shoes, Change Your Life and The One-Income Household.

Robert A. Bexton, CFA, (San Francisco, CA) has been an investment analyst since 1999. Currently, he manages $70 million of clients' assets for Moirai Capital Management. He holds the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst designation and earned a BA in economics from UC Berkeley.

More About the Author

Founder of Literary Cottage (www.literarycottage.com), Susan Reynolds has been a professional author, editor, and ghost writer for 30 years. She began her career at Fairchild Publications in New York, Boston, and Los Angeles. She moved on to writing and editing for magazines and was Founding Editor for a women's magazine in California. More recently, Ms. Reynolds has authored, co-authored, book doctored, compiled, or edited more than 35 non-fiction books. Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
As a newly single mom, I bought this book to help me create a budget--which it did. There are plenty of useful ideas and insights that helped me figure out what direction I wanted to go financially as the new "head of the house". Some of it is common sense, I know--but sometimes it's helpful to have someone remind you of that.
