I borrowed this book from the library based on the 5 star reviews. Its good enough, and yes not much fluff or buzz words but it does present a distinct view point that may not appeal to everyone (including myself) perhaps in my case it may be since i have read so widely on the subject of personal transformation that very little feels new or like a breakthrough. The last section on the exercises was of the greatest interest to me because as a long time meditator one comes to realize its the doing and not the reading that makes the biggest difference.A good effort and if it works for some, more power to them.

What i did not like however was that all the reviews for this book were written on the same day,Dec 16th 2003, that seems kinda weird, and book was released in Nov 2003. These reviews were possibly from those who were given complimentary copies for the purpose of writing a review, in which case the life changing experiences and epiphanies the reviewers write about are a bit suspect. But who am I to know?

Anyways a good read regardless.

I can only recommend to read this book. For the past 10 years, I have been asking the question how to really create the life you desire. This book finally gave me the answers - not from a 1000 feet perspective, but in concrete steps.
This work helped me to transform my life drastically, attract money and a life that I really love to live.
Read it!

This book is a wealth of knowledge and tools. I've gotten really sick of "self-help" or "spiritual" books that just regurgitate the same information over and over again. They only helped me briefly and unsatisfactorally. This is a fresh approach to making lasting changes that really make a difference. One of the things that I love about this book is that the tools are so easy to use. It isn't full of buzzwords and hoopla. It's easy to read and I get something new out of it every time I open it up. I'm thinking about sending a copy to everyone I know!

I have used the techniques in this book for business and personal growth. It works!

This book changed my life!!! This tiny, little book will take you a couple of weeks to read - the exercises are serious 'thinks' for people who are ready to shift negative patterns in thinking and creating.
The exercises contained in the book really helped me see how I was "seeing" my life and what I wanted in it in a whole, new way. Now, I don't see things that I want and need, I know I simply need to hold on to the feeling, the essence, of what I desire to feel in my life. And in weeks (some times hours!), my life shifts!
The meditations are powerful and effective and one can literally be done in seconds - though I get to go there many, many times a day!
As for the personal magic section, don't you want to know how it's easiest for your type of magic to create? I'm a Healing Touch Magic and, again, this has simplified my creation process.
I've talked with Jennie Marlow, as well, and the book stands on it's own. It's explains Grandfather White Elk's information even more - takes over where Jennie leaves off. You can never have good stuff like this repeated too often!

Readily accessible to a wide audience, this beautifully written book gets the reader well started on an empowering and deeply personal inquiry. What is my life purpose? What are my special talents? How can I use them to create the fulfilling life of my dreams? Each step of the way, the author's fascinating concepts are clearly and practically illustrated with pen and paper exercises and simple yet profound meditations, making the book a fun and active learning adventure.

Some of the ideas I found most useful are how we can live most freely and beyond the grip of fear when the mind is rooted in present time; how feeling essence is more powerful as a focus than specific forms or goals which may or may not deliver us essence; how life purpose is the all-important context for activity; and how our dream/vision is an ever-evolving quest for essence which is central to the soul's journey.

You can discover the eight personal "magics" in the concluding section. These are different styles of relating and creating our experience. We each have a primary magic, which in power has its own inherent purpose and natural area of efficacy. Lots of details describe the in-power and out-of-power attributes of each style. This section is particularly helpful in drawing together and illustrating material from throughout the book.

This book has given me tremendous inspiration and encouragement to identify and take advantage of my native talents. "Life, love and work that resonate with your soul." What more can you ask for in 92 pages? This book is highly recommended.
