This is a really nice fan. Compact. Quiet. Nice looking. Lightweight. However, I put brand new Duracells in it (needs 2 AAA batteries) and it only ran for 2 hours. It sucked the batteries dry. I let it sit for about an hour and then it ran again for about 20 mins. This isn't acceptable performance. I need a fan that will run at least my entire eight-hour shift before needing a battery change; this obviously isn't the one I need. I will be going back to my Tiny Tornado II. That runs on one D cell and lasts for over three shifts before I needed to replace the battery.
